I’m one of those people you read about -- a 10+ year corporate employee who had ‘an idea,’ and one day made the leap from the security of the steady paycheck that a corporate job provides to the unknown but very exciting, never dull world of owning and operating one’s own business. So, with the loving support of my husband and daughter, I launched my Seattle based company, Georgie Girl Creative.

It was always my feeling that in this age of e-mail and voice mail, form letters, and faxes, a card with a heartfelt message, hand addressed by the sender goes a long way. While Georgie Girl has several different facets, the basic concept centers around that little someone who lives in all of us -- someone who likes to tell someone how special they are; or to tell someone a special thank you, or "You can do it." Even if you’re a coffee lover with something to say, there’s a line of cards for you (see Coffee Talk line).

Georgie Girl Creations can be as Custom or as generic as you’d like. "She" can convey a special custom message announcing your new baby, or announcing your new business (see Custom section). On the other hand, if you’re in a business where a personalized follow up could make all the difference, you may be want to have a stash of unique follow up cards which will help separate you from your competitors (see Working Girl section).
